Dr. Megan's Wedding Wait

The September wedding of popular but scatterbrained Dr. Megan Hanbro and painfully shy Knottwood police constable Joseph Pinhead started SO late, dusk had actually fallen before it got properly under way...

Well, they're CERTAINLY getting lots of EXERCISE!

It all started that morning, when Dr. Megan awoke to her mother's voice and the scent of hot, fresh tea... My, she sleeps soundly!

In fact, Pearl Hanbro had a hard time getting her sleepy daughter out of BED! Dr. Megan seems awfully calm...

NOW we know where niece Isobel gets that inelegant phrase!

The morning was a blur! - and so was the AFTERNOON! It took several tries before Megan and Tina were happy with her HAIR and veil... Good for TINA!

(It does look lovely!)

Meanwhile, back at the church, time was passing. The groom was growing more nervous by the SECOND!

Silly boy... She's ONLY four hours late...

In fact, everyone was seriously starting to fidget... Isn't Nancy in the wedding party?

...And it looked as if several quarrels were about to begin... STOP it, you lot!

"Whoops, everyone! Here comes the BRIDE!" It's Emily-Amelie's first *EVER* Knottwood Wedding!

Father Francis gives instructions to guest harpist Leona Underfoot (Bethany's mother!) Alas, she plays strictly *classical* music...

...And it's TIME! Will they go THROUGH with it????

It's taken Dr. Megan SO long to get to the altar (and we're NOT just talking about today) that it's hard to believe this wedding is actually going to happen.

Or will it?...
