He trotted his horse into the Great Hall to find all eyes upon him...
SOME people swear he almost turned and bolted out again...
But it has to be admitted that fiery, nervous Midnight IS very hard to control...
At long LAST he manages to maneouvre the excitable mare back into charging position...
There was a moment of unbearable suspense...
Suddenly, Lady Bethany CHARGES!
OhmiGOSH! Sir Donald's sword tip is snagged in Midnight's TAIL RIBBON...
...Causing the nastiest fall of the entire TOURNAMENT!
Doctor Megan rushes to give first aid...
...while Isobel quickly catches and calms the frightened horse.
Lady Bethany is generous towards her erstwhile opponent...
He even gets a few scattered cheers as Dr. Megan leads him off to the First Aid tent!
Onwards to the NEXT contestant...
